Working Mum – Ali Reid

Today I am sitting in my gorgeous friend Ali’s sun lit lounge room. Her adorable 16 month old daughter is playing happily with her toys, despite her 4:30am start to the day! Ali is looking amazing, as always. You would never know that her day began well before the hours of dawn. Ali and I have been the closest of friends for ten fabulous years. We have danced the nights away in our twenties, travelled together, followed similar career paths and now share the wonderful journey of motherhood. Not a week goes by that we don’t talk about the ins and outs of motherhood and support each other’s ups and downs. Working Mum – Vic Gretton

Today I had the pleasure of speaking to one of my best friends and working Mums, Vic Gretton. Vic and I have been friends for 12 years. We met, and lived together in London and have been inseparable ever since. Vic has literally just returned home from a two-week trip to the UK to visit her husband’s family.  Despite the horrific jet lag (and I know from experience what she must feeling!) she is her usual bright, bubbly, enthusiastic and energetic self. Her little lady is catching up on some much needed sleep and we have taken the opportunity to catch up on holiday stories, the joys and challenges of travelling with a toddler and her return to work journey….....READ ON
